Blastula Transplantation Analyses
(A-L) Tg(gata1:EGFP) transgenic embryos were used as donors and were injected with 4 ng control MO (A-D; I-L) or Arrb1 MO (E-H), as well as the tracer dye Dextran568 at one-cell stage. Wild type embryos without treatment (A-H), or injected with 4 ng Arrb1 MO (I-L) were used as hosts. About 30 donor cells were transplanted into host embryos at lateral blastoderm near the margin region, and confocal microscopy was performed at 24 hpf. (M) Statistical analysis of the transplantation results. Data shown are means ± SEM, *p < 0.05 versus the control.
