Compared to its sibling (C), ndrg4-MO2 injected embryo (D) displays pericardial edema, dilated atrium, unlooped, stretched heart and head defects (smaller eyes and prominent edema in the hindbrain). (E) Co-injection of ndrg4 mRNA with ndrg4-MO2 significantly rescued the cardiac, eye and brain phenotype induced by ndrg4 inhibition.
