PMELa MO prevents melanosome movement into the apical processes and has a profound effect on photoreceptor morphology. (E) Photoreceptors in fish injected with PMELa and PMELa&b MOs had significantly fewer cylindrical melanosomes at 5dpf. Ctrl, control.
