Lethality assessment of two types of colistin (A-rich and B-rich) co-exposed to melatonin, EGCG, and curcumin. Zebrafish embryos at 6 hpf were co-exposed to the MTC of melatonin, EGCG, or curcumin together with A) A-rich colistin or B) B-rich colistin until 72 hpf. Lethality data are presented as the mean accumulated lethality ± SEM from three independent experiments, each using 10 embryos per group (total of 30 embryos/group). C) Curcumin fluorescence was quantified in six embryos per group after an exposure to 5 or 10 µM of curcumin in combination with 5 or 10 µM of B-rich colistin. D) Representative images of curcumin fluorescence in zebrafish embryos at 24 hpf. |
