Neurotoxicity evaluation of two colistin mixtures pre-exposed to melatonin, EGCG and curcumin. At 72 hpf neurotoxicity was assessed using the TER assay. Zebrafish embryos at 2 hpf were pre-exposed for 4 h to the MTC of melatonin, EGCG or curcumin and then exposed to A) A-rich colistin or B) B-rich colistin until 72 hpf. Results were expressed as the mean ± SEM of at least 3 independent experiments with 6 embryos per group (total of 18 embryos per group). Statistical analysis was performed using One-way ANOVA with Bonferroni’s post-hoc test * Indicates significant differences with the control and # with the colistin group. Statistical significance was considered when p < 0.05.
