(n = 5/group) (D) Analysis of phospho-histone H3 (pH3). Measured number of positive cells per intestinal rugae from anterior, middle and posterior positions of the gut. 3–4 fish were used per treatment group. Data represented as mean ± standard deviation, *p<0.05. Lower values specifically in Panel C in the anterior group maybe due to localized smaller number or rugae within those sections.
