Maximum projections of confocal stacks show (A) epidermal PLCδ-PH-GFP signal, with sheath-associated PIP2 microdomains marked with white hatched lines in the inset and (B) c4da neuron labeling (ppk-CD4-tdTomato). The position of a missing c4da neuron is marked with a carat and invading dendrites from neighboring segments are outlined with hatched red lines. Note that some sheath-associated PIP2 microdomains still form adjacent to the remaining da neurons.
