Numbers correspond to pharyngeal arches, arrows indicate abnormal NC migration phenotypes observed in dlx2a+ NC cells in fscn1a MZ embryos. Anterior is left in all panels. Phenotypes shown in fscn1a MZ panels were observed in 100% (A) or ~20% (B-C) of embryos examined (n>200).
