Compared with robust expression of vmhc in both the wild-type (B) and nkx2.5 mutant (E) hearts, encroachment of ectopic amhc expression is demonstrated alongside dwindling vmhc expression in the ventricular remnant of the nkx2.5-/-;nkx2.7-/- mutant heart (G-I). |
