Cross-correlation of the residual noise after smoothing.

The Pearson correlation coefficient shows that the residual noise carries signals of information flow, after the original calcium signals are smoothen, using the dataset f3t2 from De Vico Fallani et al., 2014 as an example (N = 11 neurons). Top-left panel is identical as Figure 4B.
