Generation of mtu1 knock-out zebrafish using CRISPR/Cas9 system. (A) Schematic representation of CRISPR/Cas9 target site at exon 4 as used in this study. An allele, mtu1ins32bp was produced by a 32 bp insertion in exon 4 and a truncated 145 amino acid non-functional protein.
