Primitive erythropoiesis is not affected by pak4 knockdown. Two specific markers for erythroid precursors, gata1a and hbbe3 in the posterior blood lineage and intermediate cell mass were unaffected by pak4 MO injection at 15-somite (A and B) or 24 hpf (C–F).
