Expression of prkCI during zebrafish embryogenesis. Wild-type embryos displayed ubiquitous expression of transcripts encoding prkCI and prkCζ at the 20 ss, 24 hpf, 48 hpf and 72 hpf stages of development. Black arrows demarcate the respective domains of prkCI and prkCζ expression in the pronephros at each time point, which was somewhat elevated compared to adjacent tissues, such as those comprising the trunk. Embryos are shown in lateral views, with anterior to the left.
