(A) qPCR analysis of def transcripts in adult wild-type and def+/- liver. The expression of def was normalised against elf1a and is shown as the fold change in expression, with the value from def+/- being set at 1. The values plotted represent the means ± standard errors of the mean. (B) Western blotting analysis of the Def protein. Bhmt: loading control. Densitometry was performed using Photoshop.
