Subsequent analysis suggests eef1a1a (ZDB-GENE-030131-8278) and eef1a1b (ZDB-GENE-050417-327) are the orthologous genome duplicates of human EEF1A1 and mouse Eef1a1 based on amino acid similarity and conserved location.
