Wound-healing assay in MDA-MB-231 cells. (A) Representative phase-contrast images of the wound-healing assay taken 24 h after the scratch. The images were captured using an optical microscope. (B) Quantitative analysis of wound closure 24 h post-scratch. ZFEs treatment significantly reduced the motility rate of breast cancer cells. Values are expressed as the mean percentage of residual open area compared to the respective cell-free gap at T0. Data are presented as mean ± SD.
