Few or no Hcrt neurons express vglut2b at 120 hpf. Confocal projections of a 120 hpf Tg(hcrt:EGFP) larva shows that most Hcrt neurons immunostained with a GFP-specific antibody do not co-localize with vglut2b-expressing cells labeled by fluorescent ISH. Weak co-labeling was occasionally observed in endogenous and ectopic Hcrt neurons (white arrowheads).
