(A and B) Differential Cg-tolloid expression during early development and in adult tissues measured by real time quantitative RT-PCR. Each value is the means ± SE of values obtained using tissues from three animals or the mean of a pool of embryos or larvae from one spawn. Reverse transcription was performed using RNA samples from germ cell (oocytes), morula, blastula, gastrula, trochophore larvae, D larvae, 7 and 14 days post fertilization (dpf) veliger larvae, pediveliger larvae and metamorphosing larvae as well as from adult tissues (haemocytes, mantle edge, posterior adductor muscle, digestive gland, gills, heart and labial palps).
