The evolutionary history of glucose transporters (GLUT 1–3) with the sequences of Mus musculus, Homo sapiens and Xenopus tropicalis was inferred by using the Maximum Likelihood method based on the JTT matrix-based model. The tree with the highest log likelihood (−4071.74) is shown. The percentage of trees in which the associated taxa clustered together is shown next to the branches. The analysis involved 23 amino acid sequences. All positions containing gaps and missing data were eliminated. There was a total of 260 positions in the final dataset. Evolutionary analyses were conducted in MEGA7 ¹⁷.
