Anticancer activity of selected complexes against highly metastatic human HCT-116 cells in zebrafish xenografts. Tg(-2.8fabp10a:EGFP) xenografts (n = 20) were exposed to complexes at 10 μM doses, and then analysed after 3-day treatments for tumour progression and metastasis. Representative fluorescent microscopy images are shown (A); white solid arrow indicates treatment-affected liver (hepatotoxicity). Only applied treatments of complexes 4 and 7 markedly reduced the tumour growth, compared to those in the control group (B).
