Abstract
The zebrafish embryo is quickly being established as an excellent vertebrate embryo for studying the mechanisms of development with a combination of genetic, molecular and cellular techniques. Navigation of growth cones of developing axons to find their target in the central nervous system and periphery is now possible. This paper presents state-of-the-art of the research in this direction.
