BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am a research-oriented veterinarian with specialized training in laboratory animal medicine and pathology, aquatic animal models, fish pathology, and biomedical research.

My scientific interests and expertise include advancing health monitoring for aquatic species by incorporating and optimizing multiple diagnostic platforms (molecular and traditional), characterizing the pathobiology of naturally occurring infectious diseases in laboratory zebrafish, and the development of rapid, sensitive, and specific diagnostic tests to facilitate health monitoring in zebrafish colonies.
