BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research in Dr. Artinger's lab includes to investigate the Development of Rohon Beard cells and Neural Crest cells in the zebrafish Danio rerio. We have found the gene prdm1 plays an important role to specify the Neural Crest cells and sensory neurons Rohon Beard cells. Recently, we are in the process of finding targets upstream and downstream of the prdm1 gene.
