STATEMENT OF RESEARCH INTERESTS
We are interested in how visual signals are processed in the larval fish brain and how these signals ultimately lead to specific behaviors of the animal.
To that end we have developed a series of quantitative assays for analysing visually induced behaviors in the fish and we combine that with various methods of recording and manipulating neuronal activity in the awake animals.
