Dorsal views of the brain of 72 hpf embryos are shown. Anterior is leftwards. (A) Expression of tdtomato in a stabile hcrt:tdtomato transgenic embryo is shown to illustrate localization of hcrt neurons. (B-F) Similar levels of transient tdtomato expression can be detected after combined injection of hcrt:gal4 and the indicated UAS constructs. Developing time of the in situ hybridization signal for embryos shown in B-D or in E,F was equal. Scale bar: 25 μm.
