Definition
A spotted fever that has_material_basis_in Rickettsia rickettsii, which is transmitted_by ticks (Dermacentor variabilis and Dermacentor andersoni). The infection has_symptom fever, has_symptom headache, has_symptom abdominal pain, and has_symptom maculopapular rash progressing into papular or petechial rash. (2)
