Description: 3D movie of a 5 day ear, assembled from confocal Z sections. All five sensory patches (three cristae, two maculae) are visible within the ear, with the exception of the posterior part of the posterior macula. Five neuromasts (O1, O2, MI1, MI2, D1) are visible on the skin over the ear. Semicircular canal tissue is visible inside the ear; the dorsolateral septum is also clear. Pale tissue to the right of the ear is somitic muscle.
