Statement of Research Interest
Our general research interest is centered on understanding the mechanisms of neural differentiation, both in normal and pathological situations. In particular, the main focus is on understanding cell polarity transitions that occur through the different stages of neural development in vertebrates, from neurulation to neuronal differentiation, mostly using zebrafish and chick as experimental systems.
