Experiment Conditions Description: heat shock, chemical treatment by environment: (5Z)-5-(quinoxalin-6-ylmethylidene)-1,3-thiazolidine-2,4-dione, amputation: caudal fin
heat shock
Name: heat shock
Synonyms:
Definition: Temperature shock condition in which fish are subjected for a short period of time to temperature higher than the controlled temperature. The standard controlled temperature (according to the zebrafish book) is 28.5 degrees C.
Ontology: Zebrafish Environment Condition Ontology [ZECO:0000166]
chemical treatment by environment: (5Z)-5-(quinoxalin-6-ylmethylidene)-1,3-thiazolidine-2,4-dione
Name: chemical treatment by environment
Synonyms:
Definition: Chemical treatment condition in which the chemical is introduced through the environment. For zebrafish this is the tank water.
Ontology: Zebrafish Environment Condition Ontology [ZECO:0000238]
Name: (5Z)-5-(quinoxalin-6-ylmethylidene)-1,3-thiazolidine-2,4-dione
Synonyms: (5Z)-5-(quinoxalin-6-ylmethylidene)-1,3-thiazolidine-2,4-dione, 5-(6-quinoxalinylmethylene)-2,4-thiazolidinedione, 5-[(quinoxalin-6-yl)methylidene]-1,3-thiazolidine-2,4-dione, 5-quinoxalin-6-ylmethylene-thiazolidine-2,4-dione, 5-quinoxalin-6-ylmethylenethiazolidine-2,4-dione, AS 605240, AS-605240, AS605240
Definition: A quinoxaline derivative that is quinoxaline in which the hydrogen at position 6 is replaced by a (2,4-dioxo-1,3-thiazolidin-5-ylidene)methyl group. It is a potent inhibitor of the PI3Kgamma, with an IC50 of 8 nM and inhibits the progression of joint inflammation and damage in both lymphocyte-independent and dependent mouse models of rheumatoid arthritis.
Ontology: ChEBI [CHEBI:45302]  ( EBI )
amputation: caudal fin
Name: amputation
Synonyms:
Definition: Resection condtion in which all or part of an extremity such as the fin or tail are removed.
Ontology: Zebrafish Environment Condition Ontology [ZECO:0000172]
Name: caudal fin
Synonyms: tail, tail fin
Definition: Fin that is the most posterior median fin. It is composed of a complex of three modified centra and modified neural and hemal arches and spines.
