C, A dorsal view of the hindbrain of a 30 hpf embryo showed extensive cell death in the hindbrain. D, Injection of 4 ng of either MO2.1 (n = 546) or MO2.2 (n = 305) yielded the cell death phenotype in > 90% of embryos. Injection of 4 ng of a 5 basepair mismatch control morpholino did not result in cell death (n = 56).
