Predicted to have DNA-binding transcription factor activity, RNA polymerase II-specific and RNA polymerase II cis-regulatory region sequence-specific DNA binding activity. Used to study hypoparathyroidism-retardation-dysmorphism syndrome. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in hypoparathyroidism; hypoparathyroidism-deafness-renal disease syndrome; nephrosis; and sensorineural hearing loss.
