- Description
- Predicted to enable calmodulin binding activity and protein kinase A binding activity. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including Kupffer's vesicle development; bleb assembly; and negative regulation of Rho protein signal transduction. Located in perinuclear region of cytoplasm. Is expressed in several structures, including cardiovascular system; germ ring; mesoderm; nervous system; and tail bud. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in chronic kidney disease; colorectal carcinoma; and juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia. Orthologous to human AKAP12 (A-kinase anchoring protein 12).
