Is expressed in several structures, including alar plate midbrain region; muscle; nervous system; optic vesicle; and pleuroperitoneal region. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in bilirubin metabolic disorder and gastrointestinal stromal tumor. Orthologous to human SLCO1B1 (solute carrier organic anion transporter family member 1B1); SLCO1B3 (solute carrier organic anion transporter family member 1B3); and SLCO1B7 (solute carrier organic anion transporter family member 1B7 (putative)).
