Description
Is predicted to enable DNA-binding transcription factor activity, RNA polymerase II-specific and sequence-specific double-stranded DNA binding activity. Acts upstream of or within muscle cell development and regulation of canonical Wnt signaling pathway. Is expressed in several structures, including fin; hindbrain; mesoderm; musculature system; and presumptive paraxial mesoderm. Orthologous to human LBX2 (ladybird homeobox 2).
