Developmental regulation of meningeal mural lymphatic endothelial cells (muLECs) in zebrafish. slc6a11b+ radial astrocytes (RAs) transport pro-Vegfc to the meninges, where ccbe1+ fibroblasts convert pro-Vegfc into mature Vegfc, thereby restricting muLEC formation to the brain surface. Meningeal lymphatic supporting cells (mLSCs) facilitate muLEC development. muLECs promote the formation of meningeal vessels. |
