CCCP treatment induces mitophagy in adult CM. A minimum of 10 images per group were analyzed from three independent experiments. (c,d) Representative TEM images revealed a decrease in the mitochondrial number in adult CMs treated with CCCP compared to the control, with 10 images analyzed per group. Scale bar = 50 µm or as indicated. Results are presented as mean ± SE; * = p ≤ 0.05; ** = p = 0.0096. Statistical significance was determined using an unpaired t-test, with p ≤ 0.05 considered statistically significant.
