Brain-wide imaging of neural activity in larval zebrafish.

Confocal microscopy image of two six-day-old zebrafish expressing a genetically encoded calcium indicator in all brain cells. Because of its optically transparent brain and small size, zebrafish is amenable to monitor the activity of thousands of individual neurons across the brain.
