Statement of Research Interest
The Laboratory of Aquatic Ecology focuses on aquatic biology, including the biology and ecotoxicology of fish (zebrafish, medaka, African catfish, carp) and invertebrates (daphnia and chironomids). We evaluate the impact of heavy metals and organic compounds at sublethal bio-active levels by means of fitness traits (such as growth, condition, sperm motility and fertility).
