Ying Han Lab

In my lab, we focus on the intersection of pharmacology, toxicology, and disease modeling, with an emphasis on utilizing zebrafish as a powerful in vivo model for drug screening and toxicity testing. We are particularly interested in exploiting the unique advantages of zebrafish to gain insights into the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying a variety of diseases. By developing and refining disease models in zebrafish, our goal is to identify novel therapeutic compounds, assess their pharmacological effects, and evaluate their potential toxicities. Through our research, we aim to bridge the gap between basic pharmacology and toxicology and their clinical applications. Our lab strives to contribute to the development of safer, more effective drugs and to advance our understanding of the complex interactions between chemical agents and biological systems.
