Statement of Research Interest

Our research focuses on zebrafish hox genes, which consist of 49 hox genes located in seven clusters. Recently, we generated a complete set of mutants for all seven hox clusters using the CRISPR-Cas9 system.
Using a developmental genetic approach with these mutants, we aim to decipher the vertebrate Hox code underlying body formation.
