Statement of Research Interest
As already announced, RZPD will be closed down by July 31st 2007. However, the main services and product portfolio of RZPD will persist.
Two spin-off companies, "ImaGenes GmbH" as well as "ATLAS Biolabs GmbH" will continue the core units of RZPD, i.e. clone and library distribution, microarray services, proteomics services and protein expression.
From July 11, 2007 the clone distribution service will be carried on by "ImaGenes GmbH". Customers of RZPD will recognize the familiar search tool (GenomeCube) and web-shop features still under the same link www.rzpd.de with the major difference that clone orders will be processed by ImaGenes.

The RZPD management RZPD German Resource Center for Genome Research is a non-for-profit service center for genomics and proteomics research. Based on one of the largest clone collections world-wide, which includes ZGC and other zebrafish libraries, it provides high quality research material, high throughput technology and automation solutions for scientists. Material and services that are available from RZPD include clones of genomic and cDNA libraries, high density colony, DNA, and protein arrays, genomic and cDNA pools, non-redundant cDNA collections, pre-defined and custom microarrays, custom screening, expression profiling, Affymetrix service, robotic services, large scale PCR amplification, and cDNA library generation.
