STATEMENT OF RESEARCH INTERESTS
In adult zebrafish, we combine electrophysiology, imaging (mainly 2-photon calcium imaging), optogenetics, behavior and computational modeling to study the representation and processing of odor information in the olfactory system. Furthermore, we study the functional development of neuronal circuits in the olfactory bulb, reconstruct neuronal circuits by 3D-EM, and create transgenic lines as tools.
