Definition
A methanesulfonate salt obtained by reaction of lenvatinib with one molar equivalent of methanesulfonic acid. A multi-kinase inhibitor and orphan drug used (as its mesylate salt) for the treatment of various types of thyroid cancer that do not respond to radioiodine.
