Definition

A racemate comprising equimolar amounts of (1R,5S) and (1S,5R)-benzobicyclon. It is a pro-herbicide (by hydroyltic loss of the phenylthio group to afford the corresponding meso-triketone) used for the control of both annual and perennial weeds in rice.
