An odourless, tasteless, and highly poisonous soft, ductile, lustrous metal with electropositive properties. It has eight stable isotopes: 106Cd, 108Cd, 110Cd, 111Cd, 112Cd, 113Cd, 114Cd and 116Cd, with 112Cd and 114Cd being the most common.
