Definition
An elementary particle of spin 1/2, zero electric charge and negligible rest mass. Three known types (flavors) of neutrino are electron neutrino, muon neutrino and tau neutrino, named after their charged partner leptons. The term "neutrino" has been coined by Enrico Fermi.
