- A member of the class of thiophenes that is thiophene in which the hydrogens at positions 2, 3, and 5 have been replaced by phenyl, phenyl, and p-chlorophenyl groups, respectively. An obsolete acaricide and insecticide that was used to control eriophyoid mites. Not approved for use within the European Union.
