Abstract
It was recently brought to the authors’ attention that Nagano and Ode’s 2014 work on calorimetry in Xenopus embryos was not cited in their originally published article. The work by Nagano and Ode is an important contribution to the field, and the authors would like to apologize for this oversight. The reference was originally included but inadvertently deleted during editing. The omitted reference is as follows:
Nagano, Y., and Ode, K.L. (2014). Temperature-independent energy expenditure in early development of the African clawed frog Xenopus laevis. Phys. Biol. 11, 046008.
