Abstract
In the article, “Knockdown of chondroitin-4-sulfotransferase-1, but not of dermatan-4-sulfotransferase-1, accelerates regeneration of zebrafish after spinal cord injury” by Sudhanshu Sahu, Rong Li, Gabriele Loers, and Melitta Schachner, in FASEB J. February 2019 33:2252-2262 (doi: 10.1096/fj.201800852RR), there is an error in the cDNA sequence of Chst-14 MO1 reported in the first paragraph of Materials and Methods: MO construction and validation. The correct sequence was used in the experiments.
The correct paragraph is as follows:
MO construction and validation
MOs against Chst-11, Chst-14, and a standard control were synthesized by Gene Tools (Corvallis, OR, USA), with the following sequences of MOs: Chst-11 MO1, 5′-GGTCCAGTATGGTTTGTTTCATGGC-3′; Chst-11 MO2, 5′-CTGCCGAGCCGAGCCCCGTTCAGCG-3′; Chst-14 MO1, 5′-CATTAAAGATGTCTGTTTACTGAGG-3′; Chst-14 MO2, 5′-GGCGGCATAGTCAATCACATGCATT-3′; and Control MO, 5′-CCTCTTACCTCAGTTACAATTTATA-3′.
This error has been corrected online.
