GOA curators, UniProt curators (2007) Gene Ontology annotation based on Swiss-Prot Subcellular Location vocabulary mapping. Manually curated data. .
Abstract
Transitive assignment of GO terms based on Swiss-Prot Subcellular Location vocabulary annotation. The UniProt Consortium has developed a Subcellular Location vocabulary (SPSL) to annotate UniProt Knowledgebase entries (in CC_SUBC LOCATION lines). The GOA curators at EBI have manually mapped this vocabulary to the GO cellular component ontology. This mapping file, spsl2go, is used to obtain corresponding GO terms for any UniPRotKB entry that has SPSL annotation; the mapping file is available is available from ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/GO/goa/external2go/spsl2go or http://www.geneontology.org/external2go/spsl2go.
